LIT Latent imaging technology is based on radiation chemistry as a means to manipulate polymers.
Our latent images remain completely invisible to the naked eye, until viewed through a standard polarizer. Using a proprietary, unique manufacturing process we create latent images in transparent polymer films. The latent image effect is based on deep changes in the macromolecular structure of certain groups of polymers, due to chemical, radiation and thermal processes.
The result? High-resolution images that are highly stable, non-degradable and impossible to imitate or falsify.
Our latent image solutions can be supplied in various ways and forms, including pressure sensitive labels, tamper evident labels, ID cards (plastic or other), lamination films and heat shrink materials. Other application methods are also available, allowing us to apply our technology to a large variety of products.
The technology can be integrated with other protective means or serve as a stand alone, powerful counterfeit-proof tool.
